PETA is making progress in its fight against sled dog sports. When will the sled dog community rise and start shattering the negative narrative?
So you’ve made a New Year’s resolution to get fit this year… And maybe, by some miracle, you have an Alaskan Malamute at your home? Then you are saved!
Winter is coming. Well, it came and already left. But we didn’t waste our time – spend incredible weekends on snow and sleds with Taiga’s friends.
Climate change is real. Instead of usual heavy snow this year we get only positive temperatures, constant rain and muddy trails. There’s nothing else left but bikejoring with Taiga through the winter every time the tracks dry out.
Finally, we’ve got snow! Well, 5 millimetres of it, so it’s still not enough for sledding, thus we’ve had our first carting training in a three wheeled rig during the weekend.
Yet another myth about training a malamute is busted: Taiga has not only participated in her first Pitch & Go competition, but also ended up in the Top 10 list and became a TV star!
Taiga participated in her first canicross race at Baltic Cup 3rd Event in Palivere, Estonia. And we were not the last ones there!
