Finally, we’ve got snow! Well, 5 millimetres of it, so it’s still not enough for sledding, thus we’ve had our first carting training in a three wheeled rig during the weekend.
Yet another myth about training a malamute is busted: Taiga has not only participated in her first Pitch & Go competition, but also ended up in the Top 10 list and became a TV star!
Having a malamute often means having a cat in a bag in terms of its mood swings. For example, it would be hard to notice any symptoms of babesiosis in a malamute up until its pee becomes really dark (very late stage).
Taiga participated in her first canicross race at Baltic Cup 3rd Event in Palivere, Estonia. And we were not the last ones there!
Training a Malamute to howl at emergency sirens is easy – just find an annoying siren on youtube and turn the volume up. But do that with caution!
Welcome to the malamute blog. We put together everything we experienced ourselves into this website, which also has a blog of our Taiga (to be updated at least 3 times a week).
